As Twitchy has reported, people have been awfully defensive about reports that the terrorist who killed eight people in New York City on Halloween yelled “Allahu Akbar” after getting out of the rented truck he used to run down cyclists in a bike lane.
It’s a common phrase among Muslims — maybe he was mentally ill or disgruntled and just shouted it at random?
