The plague of creepy clowns in America likely reached its peak last October, when the subject of scary clown sightings was brought up in a White House press briefing, only for reporters to be told that no one was sure if the crisis had been brought to President Obama’s attention.
The creepy clown phenomenon thankfully passed, but Tuesday night brought a reminder of that very special time in American history as police in Maine apprehended a creepy clown with a machete taped in place of his amputated arm.

WMTW reports that an “intoxicated but cooperative” Corey Berry, 31, was charged with criminal threatening and released after posting $200 bail. He told police he was just copying other clown sightings as a prank.

He would have been legal in Texas as you can now brandish swords If you like along with a sidearm but being drunk could get him in trouble
