When some celebrities and politicians insist on punctuating each and every tweet with the #TrumpRussia hashtag, it’s pretty clear that the narrative that the Russians worked with the Trump campaign to hacked the election — if not the votes, then at least voters’ brains — has sunk in.
Rep. Ted Lieu of California was startled and a little scared Wednesday when his 11-year-old asked if President Trump was part Russian.
Our 11 year old just asked me if President Trump was part Russian. That would be really funny if it wasn't so really scary. https://t.co/mZeHNfhHCc

My 8 year-old granddaughter laughed her ass off at the idea that an 11 year-old would actually ask a question like that.

Does encouraging xenophobia fit your brief as an elected official, under the Constitution that is? ?

What have you been telling your 11 year old? Ancestry says I have #Russian heritage, does that mean you're afraid of me? #sick
