Once you see it … Supremacist hand symbol of 'notorious white A-OK gang' found EVERYWHERE

The theory that President Trump has been flashing some sort of hand signal to his white supremacist base isn’t new; the U.K. Express reported back in January on conspiracy theories claiming Trump’s A-OK sign — “Mr Trump pinching his thumb and index finger together” — actually represented the number “666” and was an open acknowledgement of his membership in the Illuminati.

Fake news isn’t going to keep writing itself, so the U.K. Independent this weekend picked up the “secret hand signal” ball and ran with it. It’s just a conspiracy theory, they acknowledge, before devoting an article to it.

Uh-oh. Having spilled the secret (that apparently isn’t much of a secret, seeing as it’s been reported on for months), the Independent on Saturday published a piece on two members of the alt-right — Mike Cernovich and Cassandra Fairbanks — being “accused of making white supremacist hand signs in the White House.”

Who accused them? Fusion senior reporter Emma Roller, who was most recently outraged by the “unnecessarily cruel” barbecue Yale College Republicans were hosting right next to a group of graduate students holding a symbolic, “eat if you get hungry” hunger strike.

Oh, she’s serious. She even includes a link to the Anti-Defamation League’s database of hate signs and symbols. That’s not the hand sign shown at the link, though, which describes it as a two-handed affair, “in which one hand forms the letter ‘W’ and the other hand forms the letter ‘P,’ to represent WP or “White Power.”

TRIGGER WARNING:

Twitter detectives were inspired to do some research of their own, and the results are terrifying: turns out that white power hand signal is EVERYWHERE.

“Operation O-KKK” does sound like something those wacky funsters at 4chan might have come up with. Oh, hey …
