Day without a terrorist? Rasmea Odeh leaving US before facing trial under 'regime of racist AG Jeff Sessions'

It’s undeniable that the Women’s March on Washington was a huge success; that is, if one considers raw attendance numbers and positive media coverage the metrics by which success if measured. Frankly, most people do.

Wasn’t there something a bit off, though, about moms and their daughters slipping on their matching pussy hats and catching a bus to D.C. in order to hear Madonna share her fantasy about blowing up the White House, or Ashley Judd perform some sort of semi-coherent word-jazz thing about menstrual blood. And those were only the most high-profile speakers; you had to catch it live or on C-SPAN to hear the really crazy stuff.

So it wasn’t much of surprise to anyone paying attention that Rasmea Yousef Odeh, a convicted Palestinian terrorist, had signed on as a co-organizer of the follow-up event, the #DayWithoutAWoman strike.

At the time, Twitchy reported that Odeh had won an appeal of her conviction on immigration fraud and had been granted a new trial, set for May. It looks like she’ll be leaving the country instead. America seems to have weathered a day without a woman just fine, so it can certainly survive every day without this woman.

A statement released by Odeh’s lawyer is more entertaining that anything said during the big Women’s March rally:

… the prospects for a fair trial are slimmer than ever. The prosecution team is now under the regime of racist Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and a new superseding indictment re-frames this as a case about “terrorism” rather than immigration. There is the great likelihood that a jury would be prejudiced by hearing the zionist Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Tukel call Rasmea a “terrorist” and her supporters “mobs and hordes,” as he has done many times before. As a Palestinian who has dedicated her life to the cause of liberation, it is impossible for Rasmea to expect a fair trial in U.S. courts.

OK, bye.
