As Twitchy reported, it was a good day for Vice President Joe Biden, and just about everyone in Washington seemed happy that he was out and about. Reporters, in particular, were very excited that the vice president provided them with a tidbit of intrigue to make the upcoming Trump presidency a little easier to swallow.

For the record, that “I am going to run for president in 2020” quote was followed immediately by, “What the hell man, anyway?” Reporters tried to nail down whether Biden was just teasing, thinking out loud, or committing.

He was totally deadpan and, IMHO, totally believed it when he said it. Doesn't mean it's going to happen. https://t.co/1kWyV6JnJF https://t.co/UiEDxiUrJX
