It’s been a long time since President Obama drew that red line in Syria, and while millions of Americans are marching (and rioting) in the streets at home over the result of a free election, the flotilla of Russian warships that passed through the English Channel in October just arrived at its destination off the coast of Syria.

The Associated Press reports that the trip “was imagined as a goodbye tour and a chance to bolster support for Obama’s agreements on Iran’s nuclear program, trade and climate change” — all agreements he expected Hillary Clinton to keep in place.
