Happy anniversary? Four years after Mitt Romney's warning, Russian warships cruise English Channel

Mitt Romney’s been pretty quiet throughout the 2016 election cycle, but that doesn’t mean his voice isn’t being heard loud and clear.

Secretary of State John Kerry, who recently claimed he was the guy in the administration who was privately chomping for military action in Syria while publicly declaring war on refrigerants, in particular had a lot of fun ridiculing Romney for naming Russia as America’s No. 1 geopolitical foe, but the whole Democratic Party had a good laugh too.

He called it all right, but what difference, at this point, does it make?

Yes, and Kerry mocked Romney for sitting through “Rocky IV” too many times. What was he supposed to watch? Leonardo DiCaprio’s climate change movie hadn’t been made yet, let alone screened on the White House lawn and at the United Nations, and his “Captain Planet” feature isn’t even in production yet. Too bad for Mitt.

Meanwhile, Great Britain’s navy is keeping its eye on a fleet of Russian warships that is passing through the English Channel, most likely on its way to Syria for a final strike on Aleppo.

Maybe a few screenings of “Rocky IV” would get Kerry pumped up to stand up to the rest of the administration and follow through with that unbelievably small military strike he promised. What is the State Department up to this weekend anyway? A fashion show or something?

Oh.
