Quarantined: Gov. Andrew Cuomo bans nonessential travel to transphobic North Carolina

North Carolina’s legislation bars transgender individuals from choosing which restroom to use based on their gender identities. It also excludes sexual orientation and gender identity from state anti-discrimination protections.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo isn’t simply disappointed in North Carolina; he’s actually signed an executive order barring any nonessential travel there.
