@WhiteHouse @BarackObama @POTUS I think helping the female population nowadays is a great thing to do, I think they work extremely hard.

That President Obama is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood is no secret, but at a White House reception Wednesday night in honor of Women’s History Month, the president flat-out declared that the organization’s president, Cecile Richards, was a real-life superhero for “making sure that women’s health care is on the front burner.” Seeing as the event was a celebration of women’s history, he could have at least given one of his famous shout-outs to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger as well.
Video of the president’s remarks is embedded below, but just for fun, guess how many times the president mentioned abortion as Planned Parenthood’s premier health care offering during his 15-minute speech? If you guessed “zero,” give yourself a hand, or see if Planned Parenthood can get one for you at cost.

Receiving similar accolades was Rep. Nancy Pelosi, whose daughter tweeted a link to video of the president’s remarks, along with the hashtag #truth. Also honored were NFL coach Dr. Jennifer Welter, Marvel Comics’ Sana Amanat, and Second Amendment champion Dana Loesch. (Just kidding about that last one, obviously.)

Mostly, though, the president spoke about himself and credited his administration with passing Obamacare, expanding sick leave, fighting hard against campus sexual assault (by dispatching Vice President Biden to lead the “It’s On Us” initiative), and so on.

Women not mentioned, among others, were the Little Sisters of the Poor, whom the administration would sooner sue out of existence than allow a challenge the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate.
The president wrapped up his speech with a reminder of yet another initiative: the first-ever White House Summit on the United State of Women, to be held in May.
So grateful to @WhiteHouse who will host "The United State of Women" summit to address issues that affect all. https://t.co/LsEBjh9hIk

Taking them to lunch? Or teaming with Richards to ensure they’re not punished with children?
@WhiteHouse @POTUS I am a woman and he has done NOTHING but get in the way of my dreams. #obamacare I wish he would leave us alone.
