Hillary Clinton admits Libya isn't perfect, but 'we didn't lose a single person'

We were stunned last week when, during a Democratic debate hosted by Univision, moderator Jorge Ramos not only brought up Benghazi, but pulled up video of Patricia Smith, mother of slain Benghazi hero Sean Smith, and asked Hillary Clinton to answer Smith’s charge that Clinton had lied to her about a YouTube video being responsible.

“This was fog of war. This was complicated,” Clinton answered, adding, “I feel a great deal of sympathy for the families of the four brave Americans that we lost at Benghazi.” What about Sean Smith’s mother, then? “She’s wrong. She’s absolutely wrong,” Clinton answered.

That exchange between Ramos and Clinton was certainly contentious, and not at all the cozy “get a room” love-fest viewers saw tonight during Clinton’s town hall with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. Matthews did pause the flirting to ask Clinton about her foreign policy, and that’s when she made the stunning claim that Libya isn’t perfect after U.S. intervention, but at least no Americans were killed.

Does Clinton even know where Benghazi is?
