Presidential candidate Ben Carson just sat down with Anderson Cooper to kick off his portion of CNN’s two-night GOP town hall event, but if social media is any indicator, everyone was tuned into MSNBC watching Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski interview each other, with occasional input from Donald Trump.
A transcript from the prerecorded town hall was released to the press early.
The MSNBC Trump Town Hall transcript just came out (it was recorded earlier). Words not mentioned: “Muslim," "eminent domain,” “handicapped"

@greggutfeld It's nice to have extended uninterrupted discourse no? I don't think these are softball questions, do you?

It was a bit hard to hear what was being said, considering Trump and Scarborough felt no compulsion to take turns speaking, but at least they were easy to see.
this is the most intimate town hall i have ever seen. this isn't a town hall it's a town closet.

These MSNBC extreme close-ups are weird and disorienting. Wait, is this VR? Am I in VR?

This MSNBC close-up questioning of @realDonaldTrump is not his finest hour.

It will be interesting to see in retrospect how much of the Trump Town Hall consisted of Scarborough wishing that they had three hours. Ignoring the town hall audience and asking their own questions probably saved some time.
"My God!" said Mika. "He's speaking to me" — meaning Trump talking about Bush lied, people died.

I wonder if MSNBC management is still feeling an "increasing source of discomfort" over Joe/Mika/Trump after seeing this event. #msnbcTrump
