Brian Stelter, host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” reports that subscribers to the Boston Globe might actually receive their newspapers tomorrow, as the reporters themselves are delivering it.
Delivery problems are so bad, @BostonGlobe reporters are taking it into their own hands, delivering Sunday's paper! https://t.co/Ohvkq542pK

The Globe blames its delivery problems on a new delivery company that was supposed to have subscribers’ papers on their doorstops this week. Instead, the paper has been overwhelmed with complaints from angry readers. Reporters then started volunteering to fill in.
There are 65+ emails in my Globe inbox from reporters & editors, volunteering to deliver tomorrow's papers. So much love for @BostonGlobe.

@brianstelter @JeffreyGoldberg @BostonGlobe does this mean we'll get our paper tomorrow?

It turns out they’re not the first paper with such an arrangement, but likely the largest.

@brianstelter @BostonGlobe Probably many of them started that way in the newspaper biz as young tykes.

@brianstelter @BostonGlobe What year in Columbia grad school do students learn efficient delivery routes?
— Storrow Overdrive (@SirKellyCassidy) January 3, 2016
Just to clarify, there is an online, subscription-based version of the Boston Globe.

@brianstelter @BostonGlobe Wouldn’t it be easier to publish it for free online for one week while they straighten delivery out?
