The Guardian puts Scrooge to shame with holiday hit pieces

You could say the Guardian is one of the more liberal newspapers out there. The Guardian this year hired Chelsea Manning, convicted in 2013 of violating the Espionage Act, to write opinion columns from her cell at Fort Leavenworth. Also this year, the Guardian reported that “Innocence of Muslims,” the anti-Muslim film “that sparked violence in the Middle East,” had been re-added to YouTube and that climate change could lead to the next Holocaust.

Ben Everitt’s tweet compiling all of the best wishes for the Christmas holiday from the Guardian’s writers has been retweeted more than 4,000 times, and it’s no wonder. What brings holiday joy like headlines ranging from “It’s time for a real War on Christmas” to “Christmas is ruined by children” to “Why I’m opting out of Christmas.”

Oh what fun! Here’s a clearer view of some of the headlines celebrating the Christmas spirit.
