That girl: Amnesty advocates tap familiar six-year-old to push their message of open borders

Last week, FWD.us, an advocacy group backed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, “fired the opening salvo in a campaign against the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants” (their words). The campaign consists of a series of partially animated videos which show the transformation of America into a police state into order to deport illegals, with children in particular targeted at school and on the playground.

The animated segments are intercut with footage of “the innocent eyes of six-year-old Sophie and her love for her mommy.”

Why won’t conservatives think of the children? Liberals do, when it helps their cause.

Malkin discovered a miracle at work in this latest piece of propaganda: adorable Sophie just so happens to be the same little girl who managed to, depending on the reporter, get past the barricades and/or break through/breach/elude security to give the Pope a hug and a letter promoting amnesty as his high-security motorcade paraded through Washington, D.C. in September.

Following her miraculous encounter, Sophie (and her illegal alien dad) appeared at a rally and news conference at the Capitol, and little Sophie was invited by Rep. Julia Brownley to listen to the pope’s address to Congress on Thursday.
