No matter what “common sense” gun control legislation liberals manage to pass, they can always manage to find “loopholes” in it later. Closing the notorious-yet-nonexistent gun show loophole is the second step of Hillary Clinton’s three-step gun control agenda, for example. That narrative doesn’t apply to the San Bernardino shooting, however.
Fox News Capitol Hill reporter Chad Pergram noted this afternoon that Rep. Nancy Pelosi has declared the newly controversial “terrorist gun loophole” to be downright “scandalous.”

We believe she’s referring to the “loophole” that allows people who appear on the U.S. terrorist watch list to purchase guns legally. What’s scandalous, then, is the state of the watch list: the Washington Free Beacon yesterday reported that a congressional investigation found 72 employees of the Department of Homeland Security on the department’s own terrorist watch list.
