CNN’s Jake Tapper’s not the only one who noticed the particularly strange framing of the headline to this story of violence in Jerusalem today, as reported by Al Jazeera News. Who killed whom now, and in what order, and how?
— Al Jazeera News (@AJENews) October 3, 2015
It doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.
@AJENews You could not warp the truth more than you have in that headline. You have long since ceased to be journalists.

@AJENews are you serious? This headline is disgusting.
— Richard Mathieu (@RichardGavagai) October 3, 2015
@AJENews How about "Muslim terrorist shot after killing two Israelis?" Much more accurate.

At least the events are described as they happened within the article itself:
At least two Israelis have been killed and two others injured in a stabbing attack by a Palestinian man in Jerusalem’s Old City, Al Jazeera has learned.
A man, two women and a toddler were stabbed and injured on Saturday night by a man who was later shot and killed by the Israeli border police near the Lions’ Gate in Jerusalem.
The Voice of America didn’t manage to do much better in writing a clear, unbiased headline from those simple facts.

Exactly. Someone’s doing their job as they were told.
