The Hill today reports that former president Bill Clinton, in an interview with Fareed Zakaria that will air on CNN Sunday, claims that Hillary Clinton’s opponents in the race for the White House “thought the only way to make it a race is a full-scale, frontal assault on her.” He compares that assault — the whole “email thing” — to Whitewater, a controversy that “turned out to never be an issue.”

Bill Clinton said that at the beginning of the year Hillary was the most admired person in public life; it is for that reason the Republicans “want her as mangled up as possible.”
@thehill Does anyone remember asking him his opinion ?

@thehill if there was no wrong doing, then why did @HillaryClinton apologize?
