Hillary Clinton encouraged by California's automatic voter registration act

Vox reports today that California is looking more and more likely to register people to vote automatically as Gov. Jerry Brown prepares to sign the California New Motor Voter Act. Under the law, beginning in 2016, an adult who gets or renews a driver’s license, gets a state identification card, or fills out a change of address form with the Department of Motor Vehicles will be registered to vote unless that person specifically opts out.

It’s not quite the plan that Clinton proposed, which would do away with all of the DMV nonsense (too difficult) and instead automatically register every person in the country to vote when they turn 18. She can have her personal IT guy who set up her email server create a database of every person born to ensure no one is overlooked. Pretty easy, huh?
