The #FightFor15 movement, complete with its “Poverty Is Violence” banners, finally bore fruit in Los Angeles, where the city council this spring passed as measure to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour … by 2020. Seattle must have its $15 minimum wage in place by 2021. By then, just about every McDonald’s in each city should have self-serve kiosks installed.

Every since Vox analyzed its upcoming all-day breakfast and found “the reality is that McDonald’s just wants to make money,” we’ve learned not to trust McDonald’s. Are these self-serve kiosks just a tool to avoid paying a $15 minimum wage? Or is there more to it?

@carlquintanilla @TopherCarlton @guypbenson can you blame them? $15 per hour to start? U have to then bring up all wages!! BHO IS A MORON

@carlquintanilla @TopherCarlton did people really think McDonald's would eat the extra cost?? It's either this or a burger that costs $10

@carlquintanilla @Jamie_Weinstein @TopherCarlton How will #Obama bend the mnthly labor nos. to his advtg for those losing jobs to machines?

.@MichaelPodwill .@carlquintanilla .@Jamie_Weinstein The same way he does everything else…lies; deceit; unconstitutionally; & fraudulent.

@carlquintanilla @TopherCarlton You don't really wish to see those machines put people of work, do you?
— Jeff J. (@j2lovesfriday) September 7, 2015
@j2lovesfriday @carlquintanilla It's a matter of fact, and economy. Workers demanding $15/hr will be a self-inflected wound.
— Topher Carlton (@TopherCarlton) September 7, 2015
@TopherCarlton @carlquintanilla So are you condemning an entire class of workers to lower wages and risk not paying their basic bills?
— Jeff J. (@j2lovesfriday) September 7, 2015
@j2lovesfriday @carlquintanilla I'm expecting them to start at an entry level job; get education/skills; move up the ladder = higher wages.
