Citizens have already put together their own memorial at the service station where Harris County Deputy Darren Goforth was shot to death last Friday night, but Texas Gov. Greg Abbott would like to continue to honor Goforth with an act of unity by all Texas law enforcement officers.
To honor Deputy Goforth & all law enforcement I'm asking all Texas officers to turn on their red & blue for 1 minute @ 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
