After the Center for Medical Progress released the eighth in its series of undercover videos documenting the inner workings of Planned Parenthood, Dawn Laguens, executive vice president, said that her organization was considering legal action against the CMP over its release of the “heavily edited,” “distorted,” and “manipulated” videos.
We still haven’t heard any more about that lawsuit, but today the Center for Medical Progress gave Planned Parenthood more gruesome material to try to spin into just another defense of women’s health care.
In the ninth video, embedded below, Perrin Larton, procurement manager at Advanced Bioscience Resources, describes fetal harvesting to a prospective buyer.
[Larton] explains of situations where there has been a great enough degree of cervical dilation to procure an intact fetus: “I literally have had women come in and they’ll go in the O.R. and they’re back out in 3 minutes, and I’m going, ‘What’s going on?’ Oh yeah, the fetus was already in the vaginal canal whenever we put her in the stirrups, it just fell out.”
“And they have a smell. It’s just, it’s not right. It’s kind of icky,” Larton says of babies who have been killed with the drug digoxin, which doesn’t allow Planned Parenthood to sell them for their body parts.
It just fell out, intact? That sure beats the “crushing” method described in the first video to preserve as many organs as possible.
