'It's not about the numbers': Nearly 200 retired military 'crazies' sign letter opposing Iran deal

While President Obama has been boasting about a letter he received from three dozen retired admirals and generals offering their support of the Iran nuclear deal, he’s been relatively silent about another letter received Wednesday. This one, opposing the Iran deal, was signed by 195 retired admirals and generals, reports the Washington Examiner.

The letter came up at a press briefing yesterday, where State Department Spokesperson John Kirby laughed and explained, “It’s not about the numbers,” and then “clarified”:

It is, however, about the facts and the merits of the deal. And so what I’d like to do is turn your question around a little bit and say it’s — what makes it — what makes the arguments for the deal more convincing than the arguments against the deal.

What?

Dealing with all of these “crazies” can really wear one down.
