How did the Democrats spend their summer vacation? Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, of course, enjoyed a pork chop on a stick during a visit to the Iowa State Fair before heading off to the Hamptons for a two-week vacation at a $50,000 a week rental home. The New York Times has reported, though, that Clinton will interrupt her vacation to campaign in the midwest.
Some have suggested that the specter of Vice President Joe Biden jumping into the race has Clinton particularly concerned. And speaking of summer vacations, according to CNN, Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren dropped their summer plans and returned to Washington, D.C. today to meet privately at the vice president’s residence. Many supporters had launched an unsuccessful effort to convince Warren to run, but the influential senator has yet to endorse a candidate.

@thehill I love Bernie, but I hope Joe does make a go of it. Dems need to stop kissing Hillary's butt.

@thehill Biden will not win. There are reasons why he has not stepped forward. Ukraine + Defense contracts will unlikely be be kind to him.
