We’ve heard plenty from #BlackLivesMatter activists, who’ve literally hijacked the microphones and audiences at presidential campaign events to spread their message. We’ve also seen active campaigns against not just police brutality but the police themselves, with groups like “Disarm NYPD” aiming to create self-policed “no cop zones.”
It’s no wonder, then, that this photo from May of a black police officer and a white police officer each declaring that the other’s life matters has recently gone viral. At last we get to hear from law enforcement themselves. Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle passed along the photo of Chief Steven Jones and Officer Donald Givens of the Trinity Police Department in Texas.

@kimguilfoyle I agree. Police safety is also important. People don't seem to get that fact.

@kimguilfoyle I love the pic. It shows them side by side, knowing each other, personalizing who out is that matters. It's not a "cause"
