It looks like Barack Obama’s former campaign machine, then known as Obama for America, is going to hang on to the verified @BarackObama Twitter handle forever, leaving the president himself stuck with @POTUS. So even though President Obama himself was able to praise “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart as “a great gift to the country” in person, @BarackObama will have to settle for a tweet.
