Progressive-dominated Silicon Valley has long been asked to answer for its lack of workplace diversity. Facebook, for example, recently revealed that 55 percent of its workforce is white while only 2 percent is black. Google’s workforce is 61 percent white and only 2 percent black. As for leadership positions in the company, only 21 percent are held by women.
Twitter, which is currently in the middle of a gender discrimination suit, didn’t help its case much, many say, when its #brogrammers hosted a “frat party” themed happy hour this week, complete with a beer keg on ice and plenty of red plastic cups.

Ironically, while Twitter the company is in hot water for throwing a frat party, Twitter the service has been accused by users for months of becoming more and more like a frat party.
