POTUS makes his wish list: If only the US could eliminate prisons, college, pre-K could be free

President Obama’s plan to offer two years of free community college to those willing to work for it was easily one-upped by socialist presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, who continually holds out the promise of a free ride at state colleges and universities. Those who aren’t quite yet “feeling the Bern” are often heard asking, “Who’s going to pay for this free college?”

The president tweeted some of the highlights from his speech to the NAACP today in Philadelphia, most of which are items from his wish list, if only the billions spent on keeping inmates in prison could be redirected toward public education.

So that’s how to pay for that free tuition. Tomorrow’s graduates say thank you.

We know it’s not $80 billion by a long shot, but we’d bet $27.8 million could buy some nice school supplies.
