CNN’s exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton, though carefully composed of the softest of softballs, was certain to produce at least a couple of controversial statements. No falsehood was more apparent than Clinton’s claim that “People should and do trust me,” but there were a few more false notes than that one.
CNN’s Jake Tapper reports that Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, for example, disputes Clinton’s claim that she’s “never had a subpoena.”
