Gov. Bobby Jindal's Twitter Q&A goes as expected: 'Why model yourself after hate-filled white people?'

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s strict avoidance of questions from the press and public has at times bordered on the pathological; how about that time Texas Southern University made it absolutely clear that “there will NO opportunities to interview Hillary Clinton; her speech will be her interview“?

We have to admit, that might not be a bad campaign strategy, especially for someone with a past as riddled with scandals as hers. But is it possible for a candidate to be too available to the public? Someone on Gov. Bobby Jindal’s campaign team should have warned him not to go anywhere near a Twitter Q&A session, but it’s a bit late for that now.

How is that President Obama’s #AskPOTUS Twitter Q&A on climate change turned into a lively chat about the NBA in the space of four questions and Jindal ended up with this? At least someone stopped @VP from asking if one can go into a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts in Louisiana without “a slight Indian accent.”
