Actress Jewel Staite politely asks preachy vegetarians to 'kindly can it with that'

Now we can’t think of anyone who has ever stooped so low as to eat a dog, but “Firefly” and “Serenity” actress Jewel Staite is steering her followers to a petition asking California Gov. Jerry Brown to do what he can to put an end to the dog and cat meat trade in Canton, China.

Who the fuck eats or sells dog meat? Sign this petition to end this crazy madness https://t.co/iZOPoE7l6J

What Staite wasn’t asking for was a sermon on the evils of eating meat.

Oh god vegetarians that last tweet wasn't an open invite to preach to me about eating meat. Love you all, but kindly can it with that.

@JewelStaite lol man, that was a leap from don't eat dogs to don't eat meat
