Now we can’t think of anyone who has ever stooped so low as to eat a dog, but “Firefly” and “Serenity” actress Jewel Staite is steering her followers to a petition asking California Gov. Jerry Brown to do what he can to put an end to the dog and cat meat trade in Canton, China.
