.@CuffyMeh and apparently it's easier for the gov't to give ID cards to millions of illegals and not to US citizens.

In the run-up to Saturday’s 50th anniversary commemoration of Bloody Sunday, the Democratic Party and Democrat strategist Donna Brazile tweeted about not only preserving the right of “all eligible citizens to vote” but “expanding” it.
Can someone tell me why Democrats are acting like people don’t have voting rights right now? I’m really confused.

Introduced by Rep. John Lewis, President Obama addressed a cheering crowd in Selma, Ala. The president’s speech, praised widely by the media, avoided direct political references for the most part, with a few exceptions, including this one: Obama made specific mention of “new voter suppression laws” that had to be confronted.
"With effort, we can protect the foundation stone of our democracy for which so many marched across this bridge…the right to vote." —Obama

"Right now, in 2015, 50 years after Selma, there are laws across this country designed to make it harder for people to vote" —Obama #Selma50

Voting Rights Act was renewed by Reagan and Bush, Obama notes. "Restore that law this year–that's how we honor those on this bridge."

Obama #Selma "If every new voter suppression law was struck down today we would still have 1 of the lowest voting rates among free peoples"

"Voter suppression laws".
So close to Obama pulling it off.

So very close, indeed.
Obama turning what could be an event to unite America into a political speech against voter ID.

Tricky D'OHBama…refers to Voterr ID Laws as "Voter Suppression Laws." This is our POTUS…sad.

Voting Rights Act hype? Legal citizens not convicted of a felony can vote. Not changing.. Requiring voter ID for ALL is a problem? Really?
— Behind Enemy Lines (@BushwackCA) March 7, 2015
You have 2 years to get a voter ID if this was as it should be passed. You are too stupid to get ID you're too stupid to vote. #Obama

Everyone has the right to vote. Requiring a voter ID is not racist.— MamaBear74 (@TruthBToldDe) March 7, 2015
Of course Obama injects racial political lies about voter ID laws. Totally misrepresenting the issue for political expediency. #Selma50
