Politically correct CNN refers to black hostage taker in France as 'African American'

Here’s a bit of breaking news and an apparent CNN exclusive. TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch and several others heard the cable network report that one of the hostage takers in France was an African American.

Wait — did a CNN reporter actually call one of the Islamist terrorists, in France, “African American?”

— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) January 9, 2015

Loesch isn’t the only one who caught the slip, although it was anchor Chris Cuomo to reflexively misidentify the black terrorist.

Chris cuomo just called black French suspect an "African American". Jesus @cnn. Come on.

.@CNN just described one of the hostage takers as "African-American" simply because he's black. What a dope. At least Anderson corrected him

Thanks, Anderson.

@CNN commentator just described the black French terrorist as an "African-American man". Quickly corrected by @andersoncooper

— Chris Connolly (@Cripipper) January 9, 2015

Hey @cnn the terrorist in Vincennes wasn't "African American" by any means.

.@CNN reports "we're told that the African-American man is dead" So now all blacks are American blacks? #derp

Someone tell @CNN that not all black people are African-Americans. Doubt a Frenchmen is also American. *SMH* @ericwojo @PolitiBunny

.@CNN is appearing to have a hard time deciding on what to call the Black hostage taker. "African-American" "African-decent man" "that man"

I love how the press struggles to stay PC. "A black guy in France? We can't call him African American. Let's try 'African decent'!" ~ @CNN

@DLoesch One doesn't have to be a Rhode's Scholar to work as a reporter for CNN. Obviously. #StopTheMadness #Morons #WhyIsCNNStillANetwork
