As Twitchy has reported, protesters have done their best to ruin tree lighting ceremonies from coast to coast, booing elementary school children singing Christmas carols, shouting down community choirs and forcing festivities to shut down early “in case things get ugly.”
Tonight’s lighting of the National Christmas Tree by President Obama and the first family, though, seemed to go off without a hitch, despite a mass “die-in” less than a block away.
