'I'm fighting … to not begin to hate White people': Tempers flare at St. Louis County Council meeting

Not surprisingly, protesters attended Tuesday night’s meeting of the St. Louis County Council, the first since the grand jury announced its decision not to indict former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Also in attendance were several National Guardsmen who stood guard over council chambers. Not surprisingly, the police response to demonstrators was the main topic.

Much of the anger was outside the meeting, as protester Charles Wade alleged that he was both denied entrance to the meeting and followed by a white police officer afterward.
