San Francisco police show injuries to officer, protesters' peaceful demonstration 'tools'

As Twitchy reported, demonstrators protesting the grand jury’s decision not to indict Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson marched through San Francisco’s Union Square and Market Street, smashing and spray-painting store windows along the way and tossing a lit flare through the broken glass on a CBS news van.

Reporter Vivian Ho also relayed that at least two policemen were injured: one was struck in the chest with a brick, and another was hit by broken glass when a protester threw a bottle through a car window.

Reporter Chris Filippi of KCBS radio was there today when San Francisco police showed photos of the injuries to the police officer along with some of the items recovered from Friday night’s peaceful protest.
