Facing a Dec. 6 runoff election against Republican Bill Cassidy, Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu has made it clear that she fought for the Keystone XL pipeline “like a tiger” and has no doubt she can push it through the Senate next week. Maybe she’ll use her influence to pass some pro-life legislation while she’s at it, if her latest ads are to be believed.
Haha, Mary Landrieu is running faux pro-life newspaper ads in Louisiana. #LAsen pic.twitter.com/dYXk0MjYGE

In the ad, Landrieu reminds constituents that she’s “supported some important limitations” on abortion in her tenure.
@JimmyPrinceton @billpostmus She will say anything to get elected.

@saltedfish13 @Opinionatedcath @JimmyPrinceton nothing In that ad is misleading or wrong about her record.

@karlschott @Opinionatedcath @JimmyPrinceton the ad is designed to suggest she is pro-life but her 100% NARAL rating suggests otherwise

Curiously, viewing Landrieu’s ad on Twitter might require an extra click.
