“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart was in the CNN studios today talking with Christiane Amanpour about his film “Rosewater” and apparently let slip that he hadn’t voted. News travels quickly inside the CNN studios, and Jake Tapper tweeted the shocking news.

Stewart later apologized and said he was just joking about not voting. He was able to find his polling place, but had inadvertently misplaced his telltale “this is a joke” clown nose.
