“The threat ISIS poses cannot be overstated. This is the most vicious, well-funded and militant terrorist organization we have ever seen, and it is very quickly consolidating its power.” Scary stuff indeed, and it comes from an op-ed written by Sen. Diane Feinstein, certainly not a Republican. What is a Democrat doing trying to hype the ISIS threat like that?
Feinstein also warned that “In an audio message, the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi said, ‘Our last message is to the Americans. Soon we will be in direct confrontation, and the sons of Islam have prepared for such a day. So watch, for we are with you, watching.'”
Plus, there were those brutal beheadings of two American citizens. Those scared a few people too. Thank goodness our president has reassured us we’re dealing with a “JV team.”
Republicans spending a lot of effort trying to scare Americans about ISIS?

@wilw Yeahh…I kind of thought the Crucifixions and Beheadings were taking care of that 😛

@wilw and Democrats are doing a lot of nothing about ISIS, so both sides suck.

@wilw They can't attack US directly for some time, but Afghanistan under extremist control did result in a group that did manage to do so…

@wilw so its Republicans cutting heads off? Very poor judgement on that tweet young man

@wilw If you are not concerned about ISIS, it's time to wake up. This goes way beyond partisan politics.
— Bill Adams (@Rhohan) September 9, 2014
@wilw seriously! You mean the heads being chopped off on TV didn't scare you? Maybe it was a Republican behind the head scarf!

@GregMitch @wilw Can we afford to chalk it up to "hype" & hope they don't attack? Not sure I want to take that chance.

@wilw Yeah… Because ISIS shouldn't be thought of as any type of threat. It's not like they're dangerous or anything.
— Lex Luthor (@LuthorCorp1) September 9, 2014
@wilw Obviously ISIS is coordinating it's beheadings with the Republicans, because that makes so much sense. #ImaDemocratAndImScaredOfThem

Dammit, I kicked a hive of stupid again. I hate when that happens.

@wilw sometimes, the hive kicks back. Especially when you mockingly politicize genocide.
