St. Louis Call writer Gloria Lloyd reports that St. Louis County spent $4.5 million on its response to the protests that rocked Ferguson, Mo., following the shooting death of unarmed teen Michael Brown.

$2.5 million for #Ferguson overtime doesn't include $ for any officers from the 57 city departments in STL County, or STL city's $750k bill.
