President Obama gave a briefing Thursday night to announce two initiatives: airdrops of humanitarian supplies to tens of thousands of Yazidis under siege in the mountains of Iraq, and targeted airstrikes against ISIS. The president urged that American military forces would not be returning to Iraq.
