Bob Beckel, regular co-host of Fox News’ “The Five,” doesn’t tweet often, but he did tweet a vague apology Saturday afternoon in an apparent move to appease the bosses at Fox. What the tweet didn’t mention is exactly for what Beckel was apologizing (this time). Talking Points Memo reports:
As Mediaite’s Evan McMurry pointed out, it was unclear from the tweet what the co-host of “The Five” was apologizing for, since he has come under fire for several offensive comments recently.
Among those comments that made it to air were the use of the racial slur “Chinamen” as well as describing the star of “The Bachelorette” TV show as “a slut.”
