It didn’t take the White House long to weigh in on the drafting of Michael Sam Saturday. Sam was the 249th draft pick, but managed to make headlines as the first openly gay player to be recruited by an NFL team. That, of course, called for a statement from the White House.

Glad Obama can take time out of his day to address Michael Sam. Still waiting on his Chris Kyle statement.

Waiting for Obama to give Michael Sam a Medal of Honor. He will probably take it off the chest of a soldier.

If Obama congratulates Michael Sams on being drafted then he needs to do the same for the other 200 some players who got drafted also

Thank God Obama chimed in on Michael Sam getting drafted. It is so important to me to get his opinion on every single thing in the world
