“Everyone rushes in the same direction, and there is very little effort to establish truth,” said novelist Salman Rushdie in an interview with Vulture.com. “There’s a lot of what George Bush referred to as truthiness in social media.”
Plenty noted that Rushdie had rushed into an untruth, which he readily admitted.
