It seems we briefly got an inconvenient truth from sportscaster Sal Masekela — something about fellow sportscaster Bob Costas always saying something “both uninformed and wildly pompous.”

High chair MT @SalMasekela Whenever I want to like Bob Costas, he climbs up on his high chair & says something uninformed & wildly pompous

Now you see it, now you don’t.
Not surprisingly, Sal Masekela's Twitter blast of Olympic colleague Bob Costas has vanished. Like Keyser Soze: https://t.co/2ig4a84BRX

What did Costas say this time?
@unmentionabel Something derogatory about snowboarding. I'll retweet it.

Could it be this slam of new Olympic event slopestyle?

Bob Costas has no idea what he's talking about. He should think about just keeping his mouth closed. #goodadivce http://t.co/uFXyPZWnQl

Really Bob Costas? Slopestyle is "Jackass stuff that they invented" & where was the #freeskiing mention? http://t.co/T4tceL3xXU @todayshow

Of course, “wildly pompous” could refer to just about anything coming out of Costas’ mouth.
@CoachMullenix @DontJuddMe I don't always turn the channel when I see Bob Costas on it…oh, wait yes I do.
