What has “A is for…” co-founder Martha Plimpton upset this time? It’s a piece in Slate recapping Rick Santorum’s appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor,” where he compared Nelson Mandela’s struggle against apartheid to the GOP’s struggle to repeal Obamacare.”Mandela “was fighting against some great injustice,” Santorum said, “and I would make the argument that we have a great injustice going on right now in this country with an ever-increasing size of government that is taking over and controlling people’s lives — and Obamacare is front and center in that.”

Either comparison is a bit of a stretch, considering the decades Mandela spent in prison for his cause. And the ones likely facing the biggest struggle in the U.S. are businesses like Hobby Lobby, which are taking their fight against providing abortifacients to employees, as mandated by Obamacare, to the Supreme Court.
Nevertheless, Plimpton’s followers were on board with the idea that Santorum is “literally” a douche.
@MarthaPlimpton I'm a native Pennsylvanian. Trust me, we know better than anyone what a giant douche Santorum is.
