President tells Chris Matthews that he's 'been blasted' on MSNBC for willingness to compromise

President Obama spoke with Chris Matthews on “Hardball” Thursday afternoon, and told of the times he’s been “blasted” on MSNBC for his willingness to compromise. Keep in mind, this was a meeting of the host who lauded Obama as “the perfect American” and the president who, during debt ceiling talks, repeatedly said, “I will not negotiate.”
