Fox News' Heather Childers accompanies WWII vets on Honor Flight [pics]

With the government shutdown ended and the Barrycades put away, the only obstacles between veterans and the war memorials in Washington are distance and expense. Fortunately, Honor Flight is still at work transporting vets for the trip of a lifetime. Fox News anchor Heather Childers on Saturday accompanied a group from West Palm Beach, Fla.

We’re thankful that the veterans weren’t met with wired-together fencing this time — not that blockades stopped them before.
