While we’re still not convinced by Secretary of State John Kerry’s closing the door on sending ground troops to Syria, today’s hearing on Capitol Hill did prove beyond a doubt that “kinetic military action” is still a thing. Whatever course of action the United States takes in response to chemical weapons attacks in Syria, you know it’ll be kinetic.
